Safeguarding

We want everyone to feel welcome and safe in our church. The following policy has been agreed by the Parochial Church Council:

Safeguarding Policy and Procedures

The Parish of St Neots with Eynesbury is committed to safeguarding all those who attend the worship and other activities that we offer. We follow the House of Bishops’ Policy document, ‘Promoting a Safer Church', and 'The Parish Safeguarding Handbook (2018)'. We seek to create a culture where everyone is included, respected, listened to, and taken seriously. We accept the prime duty of care for children and vulnerable adults, and have appointed a safeguarding co-ordinator to ensure that what we do is informed by up-to-date policies and procedures from local and national authorities.

The Parochial Church Council has adopted the nationally recommended Safeguarding Policy in line with the Church of England National Safeguarding Standards.  Please click here to read the policy.
