Holy Terrors (age 9-10)

‘Holy Terrors’ is the social club for children in years 5 and 6 of primary school (ages 9 – 11) who attend our Church. We meet for 1½ hours on Mondays. What follows is in their own words (and spelling).

Over the past year we have done numerous different things a few of my favourite where making sweets eg chocolate truffles, pepermints and tablet and some more. We also went canoeing down the small lakey things at the river ouse and also on the main river, we have also hade fun swimming we swam, dived and swam under the water we had great fun (at the town Swimming Pool). Once we whent swimming it was great we went on the water slide, we went under water, and also we dived into the water. this year we went swimming 2 times.

In september we made Origami and in origami we made water bombs, gliders, jumping frogs and bangers. We threw water bombs and exploded on the bin. It was extremely fun.

Urly in november we made a guy (Guy Fawkes) out of tights, we stuffed him with newspaper. After that we thought that we would put some clothes on him. We roasted him on the fire, then cooked marsh-mellows on the fire. Andrew, Charlotte, Jasmine and Tom
